Last weekend, we hosted a successful Running Workshop at FuncPhysio Physical Therapy, and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us!
Dr. YJ kicked off the evening with a deep dive into the physiology of running and various training methods to improve performance and prevent injury. Participants gained valuable insights into how to structure their training effectively, whether preparing for a race or running recreationally.

Dr. Kosaki followed with an engaging session on running form and mechanics, focusing especially on proper squat technique and plyometric exercises. He not only explained the correct movement patterns but also demonstrated how these foundational exercises relate to improved running efficiency and reduced risk of injury.

Throughout the workshop, we had lively discussions with runners of all levels. Many thoughtful questions were raised, leading to practical conversations about common issues runners face and how to manage the training strategies.
At FuncPhysio, we work with a wide range of runners and athletes, helping them optimize performance, recover from injuries, and build resilient movement patterns.
We’re excited to continue building this community and will be hosting more running workshops in the future. Stay tuned for upcoming events!
