August 3, 2023: I was invited to speak at SPORTEC 2023 at Tokyo Big Sight during my temporary return to Japan.
SPORTEC has been held since 2009 and is Japan’s largest comprehensive exhibition on the sports and health industry, where sports-related companies and organizations from around the world present their latest products, technologies, and services. After hosting the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, Japan will become an activity that promotes the creation and establishment of distinctive “community development” utilizing “sports” throughout the country, thereby promoting regional development and economic growth.
This international exhibition will contribute to the development of the industry by promoting the creation of a sports-friendly environment and an increase in the sports population, and will be a venue for active exchanges between private companies involved in sports, as well as governments, associations, and organizations promoting sports and health.
Coaches Futami of Body Improve, Miyazaki and Watanabe of BRANTA, and myself, Takada of PRIISM Golf, were co-presenters at a presentation titled “Golf Coach-Trainer Collaboration to Improve Player Performance” in the golf section of the exhibition.
