Pelvic Health

The pelvic floor is a group of muscles that form a sling/hammock inside the pelvis and play a crucial role in support of organs such as the bladder, bowel and uterus. This group of muscles assists in the control of urination and bowel movement, while also playing an essential role during sex. They also assist in stabilizing the trunk and pelvic joints to enable efficient breathing and enhance core stability.

Millions of men and women suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction, and often do not get the right help. Physical Therapy can not only help decrease pain in this region but can also improve mobility, sexual function, digestive regularity, reproductive viability, and overall wellbeing.
