“Tennis elbow” (lateral epicondylitis) isn’t just for tennis players!
It’s irritation and pain around the outer elbow, often from repetitive wrist or forearm movements, not only racket sports.
One golfer developed elbow pain after repeated swings and ball strikes on a hard surface. 🏌️♂️

But here’s the twist — his pain wasn’t only about the elbow!
The nerves that supply the elbow actually come from the neck and shoulder.
During testing, a nerve compression test at the neck reproduced the same elbow symptoms, showing a Double Crush Syndrome, where the same nerve is compressed at more than one point.

Even mild compression at the elbow can become painful when the nerve is already irritated higher up at the neck.

From his movement analysis, we also noticed that during swing-like motions, he unconsciously tilts and rotates his head to the left, and his cervical spine moves uncontrollably in that direction, which can irritate or compress the cervical nerves.
That’s why treatment focused not only on the elbow, but also on:
✨ Soft tissue release along the nerve path
✨ Joint mobilization at the neck to relieve pressure
✨ Nerve gliding exercises to restore normal mobility and sensitivity
The key is to treat the cause, not just the pain!

Restoring proper movement from neck to arm, so the elbow can truly recover.
