Integrating Japanese Eastern medicine with Western medicine.

AJ is a Winter Olympic bobsled athlete who came to see us after pulling his left inner thigh muscle during sprint training.

He felt pain in his groin area — something that’s actually happened to him before, but this time the pain just wouldn’t go away.

After checking his movement, we found his hip was too tight in the front and side, limiting his ability to extend and push off — a motion that’s crucial for bobsled athletes. That lack of flexibility was putting extra stress on his groin muscles again and again.

With his final Olympic qualifier just around the corner, time was tight.

We used MLS laser therapy to help his tissue heal faster, added manual therapy to release the tight areas, and guided him through movement training to restore confidence and get him moving pain-free again.

He told us that before coming in, he had made no progress for months, but after just a few treatments, he already felt noticeable improvement. 🙌

Now he’s back in Canada preparing for the Games! Hope he can continue training pain-free all the way to the Olympics!🔥
