Hello from the FuncPhysio Running Club! 🌸🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

With the arrival of spring, our radio exercise sessions, which were held over Zoom during the winter, will be returning to Central Park starting in April! Join us every Sunday at 9:00 AM for radio exercise, followed by our group run at 9:30 AM.

Stay Active with Radio exercise & Running!

Our radio exercise sessions welcome participants of all ages, from children to seniors. It’s a simple but effective way to wake up your body and warm up before running. You’re welcome to join just for the radio exercise, just for the run, or even just for our monthly events! Feel free to participate in a way that suits you. 😊

Our running course consists of two loops around a 2.7 km (1.7-mile) route in Central Park, with breaks in between. Everyone runs at their own pace, and walking is completely okay! Many of our members are beginners, so if you’re new to running or unsure about keeping up, don’t worry—we’re here to support each other!

A Club for Beginners, but Full of Big Goals!

One of the defining features of our club is that most of our members are beginner runners. Many of us recently started running, and several of us are already preparing to participate in the 2025 NYC Marathon! Whether you’re looking for motivation, running buddies, or just a welcoming community, we’d love to have you join us.

More Than Just Running – Monthly Events!

In addition to our weekly sessions, we host monthly special events. Last year, we enjoyed a running seminar, a hiking trip, and a Christmas party, among other activities. We aim to create a space where people can have fun while staying active.

For the upcoming months, we’re planning new events such as pickleball and hiking (though details are still in the works!). We’ll share more information soon, so stay tuned!

If you’re hesitant about running, why not start with radio exercise or one of our events? The key to a healthy lifestyle is consistency, and we believe that staying active should also be fun and social. Whether you’re here to improve your fitness or simply meet new people, we’d love to have you join us.
